About this blog
Despite outward appearances, this isn’t a cycling blog.
It is isn’t a professional blog either, so any views expressed are my own. If you want to engage with me about work you can find me on LinkedIn.
It’s about travelling (sometimes on a bike), living in London and anything else I feel like writing about.
I live in North London, and try to enjoy the experiences our capital has to offer, by which I mainly mean food. London lets you to travel anywhere you like for the duration of a meal.
In 2011 I bought a bike, and I immediately discovered a great way of exploring London – my knowledge of which remains a work in progress.
It wasn’t long before my thoughts turned to longer (much longer) bike trips and in summer 2012 I took my bike to Switzerland and cycled home along the River Rhine.
(OK, so the Rhine doesn’t go all the way to my house but it did get me as far as the North Sea).
Cycling is a great way of travelling. It engages you with your surroundings, and offers the opportunity to make some decent progress.
I plan on doing a lot more of it.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog, and I would love to hear from you so please feel free to comment.
